The Mad Mekon/MMC's "NO BLOCKS BOOT" disk menu
Released around 1986

Description:
This program makes a 0 block menu file to your disks which, when run, will
read the directory in and allow you to select one of the first twenty six
files, fastload it and run it.

History:
The original boot is the Datel fastload menu (from their tools disk and
the Action Replay cartridge) but with the bugs in the menu removed so that
it can handle a maximum of 96 files in the directory. The fast load was
also improved by about 50%. The no blocks saver was originally by Trilogic
for their own menu system (for the Expert cartridge) again with some bugs
removed and improvements.

Use:
Dead simple, load the program, insert the disk to write to and read it's
directory by pressing F1. When you want to save the boot press F3 and away
it goes. The writing of the boot itself can take up to a couple of minutes
depending on how many files are on the disk already.

There's also a pretty cool fast formatter in there on F5 and it's possible
to quit with F8.
